Behavior Coach

The Behavior Coach works to empower parents to support the behavioral and developmental needs of their children in various areas. These professionals focus their tasks on the needs of a family, helping parents to see that they are a child's primary and most significant teachers. Parent trainers provide instruction, demonstrate appropriate parent skills and activities, deliver research-based materials regarding proactive appropriate interactions, meet data outcomes and adhere to program goals.

Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in social sciences, childhood education or related field. Applicant will have an outgoing personality, get along well with others, energetic and motivated to make a socially significant difference in the community.

Essential Function: Provide professional parent instruction and delivery of information to target population as identified by this agency. Utilize The Secrets of Modern Parenting (SMP) as the method of instruction. Become trained on the SMP Practitioner model, accept close supervision and technical assistance as needed. Work well with immediate and community team partners. Represent yourself in the community as a model for others to follow.

Physical Requirements/Environmental Conditions: may require prolonged sitting, standing and driving. Requires local travel. Must be able to work in noisy and crowded environments.

Compensation: this is a contract position with base hourly amount and bonus incentives quarterly. Compensation is considered high average.

General Responsibilities: Implement the curriculum as it is provided by Behavior Basics and to include the SMP DVD series. Serve up to 15 families per month including a minimum of 1 face to face contact per week with each parent/family group: 2-3 hour home visits weekly. Complete and submit case note documentation to supervisor weekly and input these notes into the statewide database. Attend weekly staff meetings and individual supervision meetings with supervisor. Attend all mandatory trainings as determined by supervisor.

Behavior Analyst

The Behavior Analyst works to empower caregivers to support the behavior and developmental needs of the children they care for. These professionals are responsible for assessing behavioral deficits of the children, developing comprehensive treatment protocols taking into account the whole child, including history and past trauma. In addition, Behavior Analyst is responsible for providing parenting support and education, and behavior program training.

Qualifications: Master's degree or above in applied behavior analysis, social science, childhood education or related field. Must be Board Certified Behavior Analyst or Board Certified Associate Behavior Analyst. Applicant will be passionate about the field of child welfare, have an outgoing personality, get along well with others, be energetic and motivated to make a socially significant difference in the community.

Conduct sessions at time and location convenient for the client. Complete and submit case note documentation to supervisor. Participate in face to face supervision.

Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree, 2+ years experience working in similar position, computer skills to include Microsoft applications. Applicant will have an outgoing personality, get along well with others, energetic and motivated to make a socially significant difference in the community.

Essential Function: Primary duties include paperwork assistance, materials production, support for program director.
